                                                                              Preface

I do not want to interpret the Quran nor do I consider myself capable of this great job. I can say it’s an attempt to compile the interpretation of the Qur’an in English. In my early life, my teacher informed me of the biography of Abu Hanifa (R).   I was amazed to hear his biography and started dreaming of being a writer like him. To make that dream true I have been preparing myself to write down something about Islam. I found the Tafsirs written in Arabic are sufficient for us, but I noticed that the books of Tafsir in Arabic are written with a lot of contradictory opinions, meanings, interpretations, and ideas which made me fall into trouble in finding out the real and the necessary information from the Quran. I got myself more puzzled in the context of the English meaning of the Quran as well as its interpretation. It seemed to me that the translators of the Quran or Tafsir did their job carelessly except for a very few. In some cases, I found the translation into English was done from other translations or languages, though it had to be translated from Arabic. It so happened massively in Bangladesh. Many of the translators translated the Quran, Tafsir, and other important Islamic books into English from the same books translated into Urdu, Farsi, or any other languages. The English translation doesn’t match Arabic perfectly. For this reason, I have got a call of my mind to write down something on Tafsir of the Qur'an based on its origin i-e Arabic. Then it will be helpful to everyone who wants to understand the Quran correctly.  So, I have engaged myself in the compilation and translation of information from various authentic books of Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, and Islamic history written in Arabic into English to find out the real meaning, idea, and interpretation of the Quran based on Sahih Hadiths. It is a worthy point to mention here that I am not a Mujtahid(مجتهد). Now sufficient authentic books on Islam are available in our hands.  I feel there is no need to write down a new book on Tafsir with new ideas, but collecting authentic information is the demand of time. Thinking of this fact I have attempted to do this great job depending on my Rob.  I am a follower of Hanafi Mazhab.  In the case of jurisprudential issues, I have written only the opinion of Hanafi Mazhab with irrefutable evidence from the Quran and Hadith in this book.  I seek Allah’s help and favor in this regard to fulfill my attempt. May Allah accept this attempt as a medium of my salvation in Akhirat along with my father Md. Yunus(رحمة الله عليه), my mother Mahmuda Begum (حفظها الله ومد الله حياتها  (  my wife, Shahnaj Begum, who encouraged me and provided me all necessary supports, (حفظها الله ومد الله حياتها  (  my son Muhammad Jawad Zin-Noor, (حفظه الله ومد الله حياته  (   they are my inspiration, my all family members, friends, and teachers. Amin.
